Following the increasing English language requirements for student visa and temporary graduate visa, the government reduced the language support to those visa holders supposed to be language ready to support themselve on their stay in Australia.
Form 01July2024, Students entering Australia on visa subclass 500 will no longer be eligible for the Free Translating Service (FTS).
The Government announced that the intent of the FTS was to support people settling permanently in Australia in their participation in employment and community engagement.
